PAPUA - In a heartwarming show of solidarity and care, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Task Forces, operating under Indonesia’s Armed Forces HABEMA Command, extended a helping hand to residents of Kondokwe Village in Mageabume District, Papua Tengah. Led by Captain Honest of the Wuloni Post, the soldiers arrived on Thursday, November 14, 2024, with packages of essential supplies, offering support and bringing joy to families in need.
As part of their mission in Papua, the 323 Task Forces have made community support a priority, as emphasized by their Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno. “Our duty is not just security; it’s about being here for the people, showing them we’re in this together, ” he said, underscoring the importance of these Territorial activities that strengthen community bonds.
The soldiers were warmly received by Kondokwe residents, who gathered to share in conversation and gratitude. In a meaningful gesture, the soldiers handed out basic necessities, sparking smiles and heartfelt thanks. “Thank you, Commander 323. God bless you, ” said Mario Turib, one of the recipients, capturing the sincere gratitude felt by many in the village.
Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, Commanding General of HABEMA, commended the 323 Task Forces for their dedication, calling it “a powerful testament to TNI’s mission of service and support in Papua, helping meet essential needs and fostering progress.” His acknowledgment highlights the enduring value of these gestures, which bring both practical aid and a sense of hope to the region.
